Mission

Reach the Beach

Dirty Dave’s fight for Texas beaches.

There are two types of debris on Texas beaches: that which comes from the land (improperly handled trash and litter) and that which comes from the sea (marine debris). As Texans, we can control one of these.

Seeing the long-term effects of improper waste disposal — specifically the trash and microplastics on Texas beaches — was a factor that inspired the creation of Dirty Dave’s Trash Valet. It troubled me knowing that improperly managed trash in central Texas would end up covering the Lone Star State’s beaches and harming the wildlife that call them home.
